The first few weeks with a newborn baby at home are a magical, special time. You're in your little cocoon getting to know this tiny human that has just arrived earth side, and simply leaving the house can seem quite daunting - let alone going to a studio to get your newborn photos taken.
My newborn photography is all about capturing the natural beauty of life with a tiny baby - and that happens in the comfort of your home. No need to go out, no need to be separated from baby during hours of posing. Just pure, natural newborn bliss with baby right where they belong - in your arms!
How it works.

Step One
Send me a message and let me know your due date or when you would like to book me in for. Sign your contract and pay your session fee to reserve your spot.
If you want to have a chat beforehand, I’ll be happy to answer all your questions.

Step Two
I'll send you all the information you need to prepare for your photo session.
When baby is here, we arrange a date for the newborn shoot, and leave the rest to me. You’ve got a baby to cuddle!

Step Three
On the day of your shoot, I’ll come to your house for your in-home newborn shoot.
During the shoot, your baby will be in charge. I will factor in plenty of time for feeding, nappy changes and settling, so that you don’t have to worry about anything.

Step Four
I’ll edit your images and put together a gallery of about 60 images for you. Once it’s ready, I’ll send it to you and you can choose and purchase your preferred package.
That’s it! The images are yours to keep and enjoy for years to come.

My newborn photo shoots are calm and relaxed, and take place in the comfort of your home. They include photos of your newborn as well as your immediate family.
My session fee is $295 and includes
the photo session of 1 - 1.5 hours,
my editing work,
access to your own private online gallery with 60+ high res images (in colour and black & white).
Once you have seen your gallery preview, you can decide, which of the following packages you’d like to purchase:

Capture your pregnancy and your new bub with my Bump to Baby Bundle.
This bundle includes a 30-minute maternity session (at home or outdoors) and a full in-home newborn session, booked together for one combined session fee of $375.

My newborn photography style is called newborn lifestyle photography, which means that I capture you and your baby in a natural and organic way. I will only work with natural light and no props to capture bub in a timeless and artistic way.

I practice baby-led posing. This means that I will pose your baby in natural positions as long as they are comfortable with it. I can take beautiful photos of your baby while you are holding them, so don’t worry if they are too unsettled to be posed.

For newborn photos I usually spend around 1.5 - 2 hours at the family’s home to allow enough time for naps, nappy changes and feeds.

My newborn photo sessions will be very relaxed. I will take some photos of your baby on their own when they’re most settled, but also a lot of images of bub in your arm.
I factor in a lot of time for settling, feeding and nappy changes, so no need to stress. Your baby is in charge, and we will take as many breaks as they need.

I will send you more advice on how to plan your outfits after you have booked, but my main piece of advice is: you and bub should feel comfortable in what you’re wearing. Light coloured, plain clothing works best to keep all the attention on baby, and make sure that baby’s clothing isn’t too big. A simple, fitting bodysuit works better than an outfit that your little one drowns in.

Yes! My photography packages are all-inclusive, which means you will be able to download all images from your gallery in high resolution. You’ll get a print release too, which means you can download them, print them whenever and wherever you’d like and keep them forever.

I will deliver your images in a personal online gallery for viewing, downloading and sharing. The gallery also provides the option to order high quality prints and other products such as canvasses straight from the site.
