My Christmas Family Minis are simply 15 relaxed minutes with your family at beautiful Cruickshank Park.
We'll walk, cuddle, play and let the kids move. I'll gently guide you along the way, so you don't need to worry about what to do.
You'll end up with natural family photos that are perfect for Christmas cards and gifts — but that you'll still want hanging on your walls in February.

You don't need to decide about upgrades until you've seen your photos.
So... how Christmassy are they? 🎄
Not very. And that's intentional.
There won't be a Christmas set, fake snow or lots of props.
Instead, we'll use the beautiful greenery, open space and natural light at Cruickshank Park as our backdrop.
That means your photos can become Christmas cards and presents for grandparents now - and still feel completely at home on your walls all year round.
What should we wear?
Definitely no compulsory matching Christmas jumpers. (Unless you want to…)
Choose clothes that feel like you, but work together rather than matching exactly.
Soft neutrals, earthy tones, gentle patterns and natural textures all photograph beautifully outdoors.
Once you've booked, I'll send you some simple guidance to help you pull everyone's outfits together without overthinking it.
Good news: they don't have to.
They can be shy. They can be wriggly.
They can need a cuddle.
They can suddenly become deeply invested in a particular
rock they found on the ground.
That's all completely normal.
I don't expect perfect behaviour and you don't need
to spend the drive to Yarraville telling everyone they must
smile for the photographer.
Come as you are.
I'll take it from there.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
A little Christmas present for your future self.
There will be plenty of photos this Christmas.
Photos of the kids opening presents. Photos with the grandparents. Photos of Christmas lunch. Approximately 400 photos of whatever new toy your child becomes obsessed with.
But chances are, one person will be behind the camera for most of them.
This is your chance to make sure everyone is in the photo.
Not perfectly posed.
Just together.
And I think that's a pretty lovely thing to give yourself for Christmas.

Sessions are suitable for immediate families. Sessions are 15 minutes and run consecutively, so please arrive a few minutes early and ready to begin. In the event of unsuitable weather, you'll be contacted regarding alternative arrangements.

I jumped on the recent Mother's Day mini shoot hoping to get some Autumn photos of my little man playing in the leaves. Vero went above and beyond making sure the location and timing was perfect. Visiting the location multiple times to make sure the leaves were just right. At the shoot she was so patient with my 18 month old son, who ran away constantly and wanted snacks the whole time. This is my 3rd time working with Vero. I normally do not love having my photo taken, but I always love her images and the way she captures the emotion.
